These Terms of Service govern your use of HorizonNode Hosting services. By purchasing, accessing, or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms and all policies incorporated by reference.

Definitions

  1. “HorizonNode,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to HorizonNode Hosting.
  2. “Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to the person or organization purchasing or using our services.
  3. “Services” includes hosting products, panels, websites, support systems, and related infrastructure made available by HorizonNode.

Account Responsibilities

  1. You are responsible for keeping account credentials, API keys, SSH keys, and authentication methods secure.
  2. You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it reasonably current.
  3. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.

Acceptable Use

  1. Services may not be used for unlawful activity, malicious software distribution, credential theft, attacks against third parties, unauthorized access, or abusive network behavior.
  2. Customers must respect intellectual-property rights, software licenses, game-developer terms, and applicable laws when uploading, installing, or distributing content.
  3. Pirated software, cracked applications, unauthorized license keys, account generators, or tools intended to bypass software licensing or authentication are prohibited.
  4. HorizonNode may suspend or restrict services when necessary to protect infrastructure, other customers, or third parties from abuse or security threats.

Game Server Hosting and Minecraft Authentication

  1. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all game-server files, plugins, mods, scripts, launchers, and connected clients comply with applicable laws, license terms, and the terms or policies of the relevant game developer or publisher.
  2. Minecraft servers hosted by HorizonNode must remain in online mode and use official Microsoft/Mojang account authentication unless HorizonNode gives prior written approval for a legitimate technical configuration that does not enable unlicensed access.
  3. Disabling official authentication for the purpose of allowing cracked, pirated, unlicensed, or otherwise unauthorized Minecraft clients to connect is prohibited.
  4. Third-party login or authentication plugins do not replace official Microsoft/Mojang authentication and may not be used to circumvent this requirement.
  5. HorizonNode does not install, configure, troubleshoot, or provide support for cracked launchers, unauthorized authentication systems, or other third-party software intended to enable unlicensed access.
  6. Attempts to bypass or reverse authentication requirements may result in refusal of support, service restriction, suspension, or termination. Services suspended or terminated for such violations may be ineligible for a refund.

Billing, Renewals, and Suspension

  1. Recurring services are billed according to the cycle selected at checkout.
  2. Invoices must be paid by the stated due date. Unpaid services may be suspended or terminated after applicable notices or grace periods.
  3. Taxes, transaction fees, or third-party charges may apply where required.

Cancellations and Refunds

  1. Cancellation requests must be submitted through the client area or another approved support method.
  2. Refund eligibility depends on the product, payment method, and circumstances of the request.
  3. Setup fees, licenses, third-party services, domains, or other non-recoverable costs may be non-refundable.

Backups and Customer Data

  1. Customers are responsible for maintaining independent backups of important data unless a specific backup service is included in the purchased plan.
  2. Backup availability is not a guarantee of recoverability, and customers should not rely on HorizonNode as their sole backup location.

Service Changes

  1. We may modify infrastructure, software, network routes, product features, or technical configurations when reasonably necessary to operate or improve the service.
  2. Material policy changes will be published on our website or otherwise communicated where appropriate.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HorizonNode is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from service interruption, data loss, third-party software, customer configuration, or events outside our reasonable control.
