Before Reinstalling
A reinstall can replace or remove server files depending on the egg and installation process. Always create a backup first.
- Create a new backup from the Backups tab.
- Download any critical configuration files you also want stored locally.
- Stop the server.
Run the Reinstall
- Open the Settings tab.
- Find the reinstall option.
- Read the warning carefully.
- Confirm the reinstall.
- Wait until installation completes before starting the server.

Use reinstall only after making a backup of any files you need to keep.

Review your startup variables and configuration before starting the server. Restore your own resources or configuration from backup only after confirming the new installation is healthy.
Reinstalling is destructive.Do not use this option as a normal restart or troubleshooting step unless you understand what files may be replaced.
