How to Get Your Keymaster License for FiveM

Create the Cfx.re license key required to start your FiveM server.

Creating Your FiveM License Key

FiveM servers require a valid Cfx.re server license key. The key is created through the Cfx.re Keymaster service and then added to your HorizonNode server.

  1. Sign in to the official Cfx.re Keymaster website using your Cfx.re account.
  2. Create a new server key.
  3. Enter a label that helps you identify the HorizonNode server.
  4. Use the public IP address assigned to your FiveM server when requested.
  5. Create the key and copy it.

Add the Key to HorizonNode

  1. Open your FiveM server in the HorizonNode Game Panel.
  2. Go to Startup.
  3. Find the FiveM license key variable.
  4. Paste your Keymaster key and save the change.
  5. Restart the server.
Do not post the key publicly.Treat your Keymaster license key like a password. If it becomes exposed, replace it through Cfx.re.
