Creating Server Backups
Regular backups are important before server updates, script changes, configuration edits, or other major changes. HorizonNode's game panel lets you create a backup directly from your server.
- Open your server in the HorizonNode Game Panel.
- Navigate to the Backups tab.
- Click Create Backup.

Create and manage backups stored for this server.
CREATE BACKUP- Enter an optional backup name so you can identify the recovery point later.
- Leave ignored files and directories blank unless there are files you intentionally do not want included.
- Enable Locked if you want to prevent accidental deletion of the backup.
- Press Start Backup.

START BACKUP
Once the backup is complete, it will appear in the Backups tab with its creation date and available actions.
Wait for completion.Do not reinstall or make destructive changes until the backup finishes successfully.
